Converting a Stock Module from Matter to ESPHome (Moved)
This page has moved. How a stock module that runs this project’s retired Matter firmware is converted to ESPHome over the air is now a section of Matter Firmware (Retired).
Moved on 2026-10-13. This page described the conversion with
firmware/scripts/matter-convert.py. The Matter firmware it starts from is retired, and the procedure now lives on the one page about that firmware. The current firmware is the ESPHome firmware. The last tree with the Matter builds is the tagmatter-final.
